Police nab 3rd robbery suspect

McComb police tracked down the third suspect in the robbery of a man who allegedly robbed the BK Food Mart on Nelson Avenue last week.

McComb police, with assistance from the Brookhaven Police Department, arrested Eric Carroll, 29, 1002 Johnson Ave., at a hotel in Brookhaven.

Liberty police warn of possible credit card scam

A phone call from Illinois has left Liberty Police Chief Brad Bellipanni concerned about a credit card fraud case that could just be the beginning of many more.

Bellipanni said he received a phone call from a woman in Georgetown, Ill., who was victim of what appears to be a credit card scam.
