The McComb 10-year-old American and National League All-Stars battled head-to-head Monday night for McComb bragging rights and the chance to continue on to the state championship.
Although down 8-5 in the final inning of play, the Nationals rallied back and prevailed in the end, squeaking by the Americans 9-8.
