Bruce notches second big win

Southwest Bass Club fished its fifth tournament of the 2020-21 season on April 17 at Eagle Lake. A total of 18 teams consisting of 31 anglers showed up to compete to see who could weigh in the biggest bag.

Bruce rakes in the prizes

Southwest Bass Club fished its fourth derby of the 2020-21 season with 19 teams consisting 34 anglers that took to the waters of Okhissa Lake.

Southwest was met with a cold front that brought air temps to a chilly 45 degrees that morning and up to 62 by weigh-in.

Southwest Bass Club fished its third derby of the season on Black River Lake in Monterey, La., Jan. 16. We had 42 anglers in 25 teams show up to battle it out.

Johnny Rials, our vice president, went over weigh-in time and safety rules. Jimmy Roberts led us in prayer and Chris Thompson called out flights.

Moree, Smith win at Lake St. John ‘flipping trees’

Southwest Bass Club fished its second tournament of the new season at Lake St. John on Dec. 19 with 26 teams consisting of 41 anglers.
