McComb hires Faust for accounting work

After weeks of discussion, the McComb City Board voted Tuesday to hire accounting firm Faust & Associates to provide accounting supervision.

The firm will be paid $90 per hour for up to $3,600 a month.

Pike County teachers lauded at arts center event

Twelve of Southwest Mississippi’s longtime educators received their homage at Thursday’s Pike County Educators Lifetime Achievement Awards banquet at the Horace Holmes Student Union at Southwest Mississippi Community College.

The event was sponsored by the Jubilee Performing Arts Center, which will open this summer in McComb.
