When she heard the voicemail that the Enterprise-Journal selected her as its Mother of the Year, Ann Harris said she thought a friend was pulling a prank.
“I just couldn’t believe it when that man called me,” Harris said. “I just turned the phone off and kept going. I didn’t think anything more about it.”
