The Mississippi Department of Transportation took no action on the Nehi Circle railroad crossing at its meeting on Tuesday.
The three-member transportation commission voted unanimously to close the crossing at its April 13 meeting. That is also when MDOT withdrew its offer to the city of $25,000 to assist in the closing.
