According to an appeal filed Friday afternoon, McComb Mayor Zach Patterson does not believe a contempt hearing set for this Wednesday regarding his payment of $4,500 to McComb attorney John Ott is necessary.
The hearing is tied in with the mayor’s lawsuit against Police Chief Greg Martin and Martin’s countersuit against the mayor.
