Youth council withdraws funding request

Horn to defend board in suit

The McComb city board voted 5-0, with with Melvin Joe Johnson abstaining, to hire Dennis Horn to defend a lawsuit filed by Mayor Zach Patterson on Nov. 3.

Horn will represent the board at no charge, and according to city attorney Wayne Dowdy, Horn will seek his pay for the case from Patterson.
