After 38 years in education, Walthall County Superintendent Danny McCallum is leaving the school district during his second term.
McCallum announced on Wednesday that he plans to retire effective Sept. 30.
Though he was advised to consider retirement for medical reasons, he has mixed emotions about his departure.
