Election set for city board post: Seat vacated after battle over dual service

Those interested in running for the vacant city board seat in Ward 3 in McComb will have until 5 p.m. April 18 to submit their qualifications, city officials said Wednesday.

The seat is open mid-term after a lengthy legal battle over dual political service forced state Rep. David Myers to vacate the seat on Tuesday.
