McComb hires financial officer

The city of McComb hired certified public accountant Mary D. Adams as its chief financial officer on Tuesday.

The position is effectively a replacement for the city clerk position vacated by Laura Burris last year but doesn’t cover the same duties, City Administrator Jim Storer said.
