Federal officials told Amite County’s Board of Supervisors Monday that the county’s damage assessment will cover up to $77,000 in reimbursement for Hurricane Gustav debris removal, the first step in recouping money spent during and after Labor Day hurricane.
That figure does not include other costs, such as personnel or repair work.
