CLINTON — A nine-point lead in the first half flipped into a nine-point deficit in five minutes, and the Southwest Mississippi Community College Bears were never able to flip it back.
Southwest lost 81-72 to East Central on Monday in the first round of the Region 23 basketball tournament at Mississippi College.
