McComb collected 14 hits Sunday and coasted to a 14-4 win over Mountain Home, Ark., in the third round of the 13-year-olds Babe Ruth Baseball Southwest Regional in Batesville, Ark.

In a tournament named for one of baseball’s greatest home run hitters, pitching will be the focus when the Babe Ruth Baseball 13-year-olds Southwest Regional Tournament opens today in Bentonville, Ark.

The McComb All-Stars will be one of nine teams vying for a berth in the Babe Ruth World Series beginning Aug. 22 in Murray, Utah.
