Hawn becomes Tylertown clerk

TYLERTOWN — There will be a changing of the guard at town hall in July.

Longtime City Clerk Becky Dyson submitted her resignation, effective at the end of the month.

Deputy Clerk Lori Hawn was elevated to replace Dyson on July 5. First, however, the board made her appointment legal.

Lashanda Ard, who owns property on Magee-Badon Road, returned to address the board on the state of the property, which has been under consideration by the board since late last year.
