A Magnolia man will serve three months in jail on animal cruelty charges.
In a Jan. 10 hearing, Kevin E. Butler, 35, 675 Van St., pled guilty of simple cruelty to dogs, a misdemeanor. Pike County Justice Court Judge Aubrey Rimes sentenced him last week to six months in the county jail, three suspended.
