LIBERTY — An Amite County solider who died in combat was honored 10 years after his death Wednesday with a highway dedication service.

The Mississippi Department of Transportation held a ceremony in honor of Sgt. Taurean Travanti Harris, who died on Aug. 2, 2007, near Kalagush, Afghanistan.
