A Gloster police officer has been charged with simple assault on a civilian after a probable cause hearing in Amite County Circuit Court last week.
The misdemeanor charge came after an incident May 7 at Gloster Town Hall involving Juanita Jackson, 49, of Baton Rouge, and officer Clint Robinson Jr., 45, of Port Gibson.
