Chief: Crime rankings don't give full story

Internet surfers and social media users may have noticed a recently published article stating that McComb is the ninth most dangerous city in Mississippi.

On the website onlyinyourstate.com published an article on Aug. 7 listing McComb number nine out of 10 among dangerous cities based on the 2012 FBI uniform crime report.

Pike wrecki claims 2

A 19-month-old baby survived a deadly crash that killed her mother and older sister on a rural Pike County road early this morning, Chief Deputy Steve Rushing said.

At 2:52 a.m., deputy Terry Beadles spotted a 2005 Ford Escape upside down in the Tangipahoa River, east of the Muddy Springs Road bridge.
