S. Pike drops opener to Jefferson Co. 20-8

The South Pike High School football team opened the new era with John Culpepper as head coach at home Friday night against Jefferson County in a 20-8 loss.

The non-district contest was a first for some players. Culpepper said the main goal is for the inexperienced team to improve in all phases every week.
