The Magnolia Police Department’s second-in-command, Capt. James Kenny, was relieved of his duties Tuesday after town aldermen voted unanimously to fire him.
The move comes a month after Kenny was convicted in Pike County Court on a misdemeanor charge of violating a domestic abuse protection order.
