A Ruth woman and her 1-year-old daughter died in a two-vehicle head-on collision Sunday in Walthall County.
Mississippi Highway Patrol troopers responded at about 2:30 p.m. to the scene of the wreck on Highway 27, about 1.5 miles north of Highway 98, MHP spokesman Sgt. 1st Class Rusty Boyd said.
