Bears drop pair to Miss. Delta

MOORHEAD — The Southwest Bears dropped a pair of non-division games at Mississippi Delta Wednesday, falling to the Trojans 3-2 in the opener and 10-3 in the finale. The Bears return to MACJC South Division play Saturday when they host a doubleheader against Hinds.

Lady Bears split with Co-Lin

The Southwest Lady Bears withstood a seventh inning rally to defeat their arch-rivals from Co-Lin 5-3 in Game 2 of a home doubleheader Wednesday. The win earned Southwest a split for the series after the Lady Bears lost Game 1 by a final score of 7-5.

Southwest suffers sweep against E. Central

Southwest holds on to earn split with PRCC

The Southwest Bears took an early 7-0 lead in Game 2 of an MACJC South doubleheader Tuesday against Pearl River, and eventually held on for an 8-6 win to gain a split on the day.

Pearl River scored two runs in the top of the 11th to win the opener, 2-0.
