Nelson Estess commended Pike County supervisors for giving their public defenders a $5,000 raise last year. But he said assistant district attorneys and others in the judicial system got larger pay increases.
“We’re actually further behind than we were a year ago,” Estess told the McComb Rotary Club on Wednesday.
