Sarah Simmons, the programming librarian at the McComb Library, with an emphasis on children’s programs, spoke to the McComb Rotary Club Wednesday about the kidney transplant she received in high school. A rare autoimmune disease left her kidneys with almost no function when she was a freshman, leading to years of treatments.
