The McComb school board on Tuesday approved a contract with the Mississippi School Boards Association, which will lead the search for a new superintendent.
The job has been vacant since October, when the board fired Dr. Cederick Ellis by a 3-2 vote. Ellis has sued the school district in Pike County Circuit Court.
