Lady Eagles romp Lawrence County to secure title berth

South Pike’s girls advanced to tonight’s Region 7-4A championship game against North Pike after thumping Lawrence County 56-28 Thursday night in the semifinals at Southwest Mississippi Community College.

South Pike is the tournament’s No. 2 seed and improved to 22-7 overall. No. 3 seed Lawrence County dropped to 9-17 on the season.

Jaguars drop close call to Lawrence County
