The long ball helped Baton Rouge Community College sweep a softball doubleheader over homestanding Southwest Mississippi Monday afternoon.
Baton Rouge had two solo home runs from Ashley Bolin in the opener on its way to a 4-3 victory. In the nightcap, Micheala Balfontz swatted both a grand slam and a two-run homer in an 8-5 victory.
