FAYETTE — With the game tied 6-6 at halftime, the South Pike Eagles had to be hopeful of getting their first win of the season Friday night.
But all that anticipation failed to materialize as homestanding Jefferson County turned back South Pike 12-6.
With the loss, South Pike remained winless and dropped to 0-5 on the season.
