The Bogue Chitto Bobcats had their ace, Brock Roberts, on the mound and the comforts of their home field surrounding them.
But even Roberts’ 17 strikeouts couldn’t save the Bobcats’ season, as they fell 6-2 to the French Camp Panthers Friday night and were promptly swept out of the Class 1A playoffs.
