Tylertown rolls again with 47-7 win over Franklin

Following a 47-7 win over Franklin County on Saturday, it would be hard for Tylertown coach Jason Johnson not to be excited.

In the Chiefs’ three wins this season, they have outscored their opponents 155-42.

On paper, it backs up the notion regarding Tylertownas an early-season favorite to win the 4A South.

N. Pike cancels game in Madison

North Pike’s football game tonight at Germantown has been cancelled and won’t be rescheduled, North Pike officials announced Thursday afternoon.

Even with the game in Madison and out of the direct line of Isaac’s path, North Pike closed school until Tuesday and had multiple players without power.
