The McComb School District, city of McComb, and Pleasant Grove East McComb Baptist Church will honor the 2013-14 McComb High School boys 4A state champion basketball team with a victory parade and celebration on Friday.
The parade line-up will begin at 3 p.m. on Gay Street in McComb. At 4 p.m., the parade will turn right onto Delaware Avenue and will travel to Railroad Boulevard — near the downtown pavilion, where a team celebration will begin at 5 p.m., and refreshments will be served.
The community is invited to join the celebration. Those interested in participating in the parade are encouraged to pick up a parade entry form at the McComb School District’s central office or from Pleasant Grove East McComb Baptist Church. All forms must be turned in by 5 p.m. today.
