BUDE — The Franklin County Dixie Youth baseball and softball league recently announced its All-Stars with Bude playing host to the 10-year-old tournament on Monday at Leroy “Cowboy” Jones ballpark.
The 10-year-old team includes Brant Mullins, Dalivan Hunt, Chase Freeman, Dalton Hayles, Caleb Johnston, Kali Jordan, Issac Harris Jr., J.J. Starks, Bronson Smith, Jacob McDaniel, DeKevionne Buie and Jason McKinney. Coaches are Chuck Freeman, Andy McDaniel and Blaine Abernathy.
Coach-pitch All-Stars are Sam Cowart, Garrett Smith, Jett Watts, Gavin Burris, Colby Guice, Ashton Arnold, Wyatt Martin, Braden Whitehead, Tristen Hayles, Wyatt Brumfield, Kyle Smith and Trevor Boyler. Coaches are Bill Arnold, Scott Brumfield, Paul Hayles and Chad Smith.
The 11-year-old team, which began tournament play at Pine Hills on Saturday, includes Thomas Slagle, DeMartie Collins, Braxton Hayles, Kamryn Webster, Seth Bivens, Kale Covington, Ivan Hughes, Kyle Robinson, Austin Burris, Jacob Jordan, Justin May and Drake Brumfield. Coaches are Jimmy May, Craig Brumfield, and Trent Burris.
The Franklin County 12-year olds begin tournament play tonight in Natchez. The team includes Brice White, Landon Combs, Tony Gibbs Jr., Justin Greene, Morgan Starks, Jacob McDaniel, Antonio Christmas, Chris Cantrell, Denzel Allen, Greg Queen, David Leyendecker, and Chris O’Quinn. Coaches are Tony Gibbs, Tommy Gibbs, and Gerry Bell.
The Franklin County softball league has named its All-Stars for its 11-to 14-year-old team, which includes Shelby Smith, Macy Ziskin, Emily Strittman, Zoe Terrell, Amanda Hill, Anna Grace Wilson, Harley McCay, Marly Lovett, Smily Smith, Hailey McKinney, Jemiah Tobias, Caroline Roberts and Noel Parker. Coaches are Tom Tom Wilson, Billy Terrell and Zane Terrell.
