The Fernwood Flippers competed in their second swim meet of the summer Monday night, falling to the Reservoir Gators swim club by a final score of 2,724 points to 2,045.
In 64 individual and relay events, the Flippers were victorious exactly 32 times, although the final order of the remaining swimmers in each event also affected both teams’ scores.
Fernwood’s meet last Monday in Jackson was rained out, and two weeks ago the swim club won its first meet of the summer against the Briarwood Dolphins.
