Beginning its postseason run at the 2A level, second-seeded Amite County overcame a slow start to eventually pull away for a 36-19 win over No. 3 Collins on Friday in Liberty.

North Pike narrowly falls to Sumrall in regular-season finale

Hitting the road for its season finale, North Pike traded punches with Sumrall before a game-sealing end zone interception allowed the home side to claim a 24-17 win on Thursday.
The Jaguars pushed the Bobcats (7-4, 2-3) to their limit as they put forth their best road showing of the season in front of a hostile crowd.
