South Pike rising sophomore running back Douglas Wansley was included in the Clarion-Ledger's offseason poll to determine who the top returning tailback in Mississippi is for this fall.
As just a true freshman in 2024, Wansley racked up a whopping 1,508 rushing yards, 156 carries (9.7 YPC) and 14 touchdowns while helping guide the Eagles to a 9-2 overall record.
