Louisiana lawmen have arrested a third suspect wanted in the death of a McComb man whose burned body was found on a Brookhaven road Oct. 30.
Jerry Tashodd Doss, 35, of Pascagoula, is charged with murder in the death of Cornelius D. Porter.
Brookhaven Police Chief Bobby Bell said Doss was booked Tuesday in Concordia Parish, La., and taken to Lincoln County Wednesday. No bond had been set.
Concordia Parish Chief Deputy David Hedrick said deputies found Doss’ abandoned vehicle and traced him to a house in Ridgecrest, La., where they arrested him and three others.
Tabitha Harris, 27, Johnnie Butts, 21, and Jacqueline Speed, 55, who also were at the house, face charges of accessory after the fact to murder, possession of a controlled substance, obstruction of justice and child endangerment.
Karal Sham Lyons, 26, has been charged with murder in the case, and Mashonna Shanta Dunnigan, 35, has been charged as an accessory.
