McComb police responded to several burglaries this week.
Detective Shannon Sullivan said two of the incidents occured late Tuesday through early Wednesday.
One report came from Tramia McGhee of the 400 block of Earl Street, who told officers someone entered her apartment by damaging a rear door.
Nothing was reported missing.
The other report came from Charlotte Broussard of Lafayette, Louisiana. She told officers someone broke a window on her 2012 Chevy Traverse and stole a small amount of cash while her vehicle was parked in the 600 block of Avenue D.
On Wednesday afternoon, officers responded to another burglary at the Otken Elementary School softball field, 401 Montana Ave. Deysha Gibson of the McComb School District told officers someone entered the park’s concession stand through a window and stole two baseball bats and an assortment of snacks then damaged the freezer.
The last two burglaries reportedly occured Thursday, Detective Deska Varnado said.
In one of those cases, Louise Reed of the 1100 block of Bendat Street told officers someone entered her unlocked 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix and stole some change and prescription pills.
In the other, Eddy Wilson of the 600 block of Pearl River Avenue told officers someone entered his home through a window and ransacked the inside.
Wilson told officers that nothing was reported missing.
