Man killed in accident Friday

A Pike County man died Friday night after his vehicle veered off a highway and struck a tree.
Larry Malloy, 59, of Mudline Road, was not far from his home and apparently headed west on Highway 48 towards Magnolia when his Chevrolet Silverado crashed, Pike County Coroner Wally Jones said.
