Phillip M. Young, known for many years in McComb by the colorful nickname of Chicken Black, has died. He was 86 years old.
An obituary notice said Young, who for all his eccentric behavior was reputed by some to be a genius at math, died Friday at Courtyard Rehabilitation and Healthcare in McComb.
