Wreck shuts down I-55 southbound near Veterans

A wreck involving multiple vehicles had the southbound lanes of Interstate 55 closed around the Veterans Boulevard exit in McComb during the Friday lunch rush hour.
The wreck involved an 18-wheeler, which went into the median just south of the overpass at Veterans Boulevard, and at least two other vehicles.

Mid-day manhunt in McComb on Monday

A man was still on the run after fleeing police mid-day Monday in East McComb as his pursuers sent up drones and an attack dog into a thicket of kudzu looking for him.
McComb police tried to stop an man who officials said had an outstanding warrant, but he led them on a chase along several East McComb streets.
