Springtime brings out the best in everything; the lawn dormant from cold winter days and nights has rebounded to lush and green grass.
My wife’s rose bushes are blooming, and her free time is given to replanting other beautiful blooms she bought at the nearby garden center.

Lawrence County senior Amilyah Barnes signed Tuesday to further her basketball career at Southwest Mississippi C.C.
For the Lady Cougars, Amilyah averaged 11.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game. She was named to the 2026 All-District Team and 2026 All-District Best Offensive Player.
