The fatal police shooting of a suspect who had shot and killed Summit police officer Troy Floyd was a justified act, the Mississippi Attorney General’s office said Friday.
Floyd was killed on Aug. 8, 2024, while he was working a checkpoint at the Meadville Street railroad bridge around 1:15 p.m.
