Tylertown Mayor Ed Hughes won re-election in a landslide victory over challenger Jasper Howard on Tuesday night.
Hughes had 243 votes to Howard’s 59.
In other races, Kyle Johnson defeated Mary Lib Duncan for the alderman at-large seat 154-131.
Incumbent Fred Magee Jr. won reelection in Ward 4, defeating Joseph “Jed” Jefferson 53-38.
In Ward 1, Doug Walker won re-election with 52 votes to Douglas “Scott” Barnum’s 45 and Chelcy Naquin’s 15.
Stormy Jefferson was unopposed in Ward 2, and Fred Lambert was unopposed in Ward 3.
