Pike County Sheriff James Brumfield is stepping down after serving one term, and his No. 2 at the department, Chief Deputy Brad Bellipanni, wants the sheriff’s job, as does Coroner Wally Jones and investigator Robbie Roberts, who are all competing for the Republican nomination in Tuesday’s primary.
