Yet another season of 'Pigskin Picks' at the Enterprise-Journal has come to a close, and after selecting 240 games across four months, we have a back-to-back champion.
Managing Editor Matt Williamson managed to take control of first place in late September and didn't relinquish his grasp on the top spot until the last two weeks of the season. But a catastrophic Championship Week showing allowed Sports Editor Parker Gillam to claim first, and he held on through Bowl Season to repeat as Pigskin Picks Champion.
It's also worth noting that both of those individuals registered 15-0 weeks this season, with Matt having accomplished that feat twice.
Elsewhere, our guest pickers surged down the stretch to secure fourth place, while Editor-In-Chief Jack Ryan and Pressman Joel Anderson battled it out at the bottom. In the end, Jack was able to hold off the self-proclaimed picks expert.
All in all, only Parker selected greater than 70% of games correctly, although nobody dipped below the 61% mark.
