In total, 240 games have been selected throughout this year of Pigskin Picks, and following the conclusion of bowl season, Sports Editor Parker Gillam has emerged as the 2024 champion.
Parker narrowly beat out News Editor Matt Williamson for the title after he staved off a late postseason rally in which Matt finished with a sizzling 11-4 record.
Managing Editor Jack Ryan finishes third following a consistently strong campaign, while Kevan Lindsey and Joel Anderson round out the standings in that order.
Our guest pickers went 155-85 this year, as they gradually cooled off following a red-hot start in which they owned the top spot in the standings for a couple of weeks.
All in all, Parker was the only one to finish with a 70% or better grade, although plenty of competitors were close to reaching a passing mark as well and nobody finished below 64%.
Pigskin Picks will return for another season next fall with Parker looking to defend his title, so stay tuned.
