A McComb woman will serve a year and a half in prison and owe the IRS more than $58,000 after she pleaded guilty to filing false tax returns, federal prosecutors said.
Elizabeth Stephens, 41, prepared fraudulent tax returns on behalf of clients between 2014 and 2017, U.S. Attorney Darren J. LaMarca said.
