Fatal McComb shooting was in same house as police standoff last week

One of two suspects are in custody in connection witth a shooting that killed one person and injured another Monday night at a house that was the subject of a manhunt related to another shooting a week earlier.
Andra Cotton, 20, died of multiple gunshot wounds at the house at 720 Avenue D around 7 p.m.

McComb man pleads to federal gun charge

A McComb man pleaded guilty Tuesday to federal firearms charges.
Norkeithus Malik Reed, 24, faces an April 30 sentencing date on for charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He could get up to 10 years in prison.

Two charged in city gun case

One man remains in custody after a Friday incident where at least two adults and a number of juveniles were seen brandishing guns near the White Acres housing project.
Police Chief Juan Cloy said an adult male is in the Pike County Jail on a charge of felon in possession of firearms.
