McComb police are investigating two burglaries, including a business break-in that was reported Tuesday afternoon.
Dream Builders of Mississippi, a real estate office located at 225 Canal St., reported the burglary at 3:30. Chief Detective Sgt. Victoria Carter said the owner entered the building Tuesday and noticed the back door was open. There was no sign of forced entry and the company’s files had been rifled through, but nothing was reported missing, she said.
Carter said the business had been closed for about two weeks and there were no lights left on inside the building.
She said there were no suspects as of Wednesday.
In another case, Carter reported a vehicle was broken into around 10:30 p.m. Sunday at the 200 block of Mississippi Street. Carter said there was nothing taken from the vehicle, but an old air fryer was stolen from the carport in which the vehicle was parked.
